CSI MBB adds two new coaches to 2024-25 staff

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - As the CSI Men's Basketball team gears up for its 2024-2025 season, Coach Reinert has rounded out his coaching staff with the additions of Harrison Van Dyke and Kevin Galloway.
Van Dyke joins the Golden Eagles after a stint with the University of Utah basketball program, where he spent six years as a manager and a Grad Assistant while he completed a bachelors degree in Psychology. Originally from Salt Lake City and a graduate of East High School, Van Dyke looks to bring the experience of a power conference basketball program to the junior college level.
Harrison Van Dyke is a huge add to our staff, as he is detailed and thorough," Reinert said. "He's had excellent experience over the last six years at the University of Utah."
Last year, the Utes finished 22-15 overall with a dominant 17-2 record at home and a deep postseason run to the NIT semifinals. Van Dyke worked with players such as Branden Carlson and Deivon Smith, both of which were All Pac-12 honorees.
A name long time CSI fans will remember, Kevin Galloway, returns to Southern Idaho to join Jeff Reinert's staff for the 24-25 season. A member of the 2007-2008 CSI squad, Galloway brings a wealth of high level playing experience. Originally from Sacramento, Calif. Galloway attended USC before transferring to CSI. After one year with the Golden Eagles Galloway transferred to the University of Kentucky before being drafted to the NBA G League's Idaho Stampede.
From there, Galloway had a 14-year international career where he played professionally in multiple countries such as; Japan, Greece, Qatar, Lebanon, Uruguay and Iraq. Galloway returned to Southern Idaho in 2024, and will be a key piece in player development for the Golden Eagles in the upcoming season.
Kevin Galloway is one of the greats to play at CSI. We've been in conversations over my time here and the timing for him to join our staff worked out perfectly," said Reinert. "Kevin is an extremely upbeat and positive coach that has played at the highest level, his individual training will help our players maximize their abilities."
Galloway has two sons, Adrian and Isaiah.
