HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The second-seeded College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team held on to beat New Mexico Junior College 73-66 Monday at the NJCAA National Tournament.
The Golden Eagles led by as much as 16 points in the second half and made enough free throws late to get the win.
Ace Reiser knocked down 6-of-9 from long range to lead CSI with 28 points. He added seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Jalen Lyn added 23 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Ben Thornbrue finished with seven points, 13 rebounds and three blocks, while
Nathan Ahner had six points and six rebounds.
CSI shot 42 percent from the 3-point line for the game and 75 percent from the free-throw line.
The Golden Eagles will next play Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. MT against the winner of Midland and Walters State. There will be a watch party at Koto Brewing Co. for those not back watching the team in Hutch.
