TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball players
Shaq Carr and
Pape Diatta brought home first-team Region 18 honors. The teams were announced Thursday at the Region 18 Tournament.
Carr averaged 14.7 points, a league-leading 6.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game for the Golden Eagles. Diatta averaged 13.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
Other Golden Eagles recognized included
Ar'Mond Davis on the second team and
EJ Boyce on honorable mention. Davis ranked third in the league in scoring at 16.8 points per game and eighth in rebounds at 6.4 rebounds per game. Boyce, who was deadly from beyond the arc, ranked first in the conference in 3-pointer made per game at 3.1 and second in 3-point field goal percentage at .441.
Player of the Year honors went Braian Angola-Rodas off the SWAC Championship team North Idaho.
