TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Program had a record 11 players sign to play at four-year schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Five of those include Alyce Archuleta (Cal Poly Humboldt), Ella Farrell (Montana State Billings), Rilyne Keck (BYU), Courtney Christiansen (Weber State Unviersity) and Ava Howell (Eastern Oregon University).
Archuleta, who hit .327 at the plate with 10 doubles and 47 RBI this past spring, was a NFCA All West selection at DP her freshman season. Cal Poly Humboldt competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division 2, where they posted a 16-14 conference record (third place) and a 26-28 overall record.
Farrell led the Golden Eagles in ERA with a 3.40. She had 22 appearance with 53 strikeouts. Montana State Billings in the Greater Northwest Athletic Conference of NCAA Division 2.
A NJCAA All American, Keck hit .406 at the plate with 25 doubles and 80 RBI. She was a Region 18 First Team selection, and made the Region 18 All Tournament Team. She led the Scenic West Athletic Conference in doubles and RBI. BYU competes in the Big 12 Conference.
Christiansen, who competed for the Golden Eagles in 2024 and 2025, hit .363 at the plate her sophomore season and was a 2024 NJCAA All American. She helped the Golden Eagles to two appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament. As a sophomore she had 12 doubles, 11 home runs and 43 RBI. She had a .503 on base percentage with 41 walks. Weber State, a NCAA Division 1 school, competes in the Big Sky Conference. 
A Region 18 All Tournament Team selection as a freshman, Howell hit .246 at the plate for her career with 15 home runs and 36 RBI. She had a .383 on base percentage with 28 walks. Eastern Oregon has been a powerhouse in NAIA of late. The Mounties finished the 2026 season with a 40-13 record and ranked 13th in the nation. In 2025, EOU took third at the NAIA World Series.
The Golden Eagles qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament for the fifth straight year, taking 13th this past season (2-2 at nationals). CSI won the Scenic West Athletic Conference Title and the Region 18 Championship, going 43-13 overall and 27-5 in conference play.
