Hansen and Keck named NJCAA Softball All Americans

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team is coming off a Scenic West Athletic Conference Title, a Region 18 Championship and a 2-2 finish at the NJCAA National Tournament. The Golden Eagles can now add two NJCAA All Americans to the list of accomplishments for this year's team.
Adi Hansen was named NJCAA First Team All-American and Rilyne Keck earned NJCAA Second Team All-American honors.
Hansen had a magical year. The sophomore outfielder earned Region 18 Player of the Year honors, two SWAC Player of the Week awards and one NJCAA National Player of the Week honor. She also led the nation in stolen bases with 62 for the season.
Her numbers on the base paths were impressive. She demolished the CSI single season stolen base record with 62 (previous record was 44) and CSI career stolen base record with 98 (previous record was 62). 
She led the team and conference in batting average at .457. She scored 82 runs on 85 hits and four triples along with 21 RBI. She had 23 walks and a .512 on-base percentage.
Keck put up big numbers for the Golden Eagles as well. The sophomore first baseman finished the year with a .406 batting average, 25 doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 80 RBI. She had 28 walks, five hbp and only 14 strikeouts for a .475 on-base percentage.
She led the conference in doubles and RBI.
CSI finished the season with a 43-13 overall record and a 27-5 conference record.
