Box Score 2 FT. MYERS, Fla. - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team battled with top-ranked Indian River, falling 3-0, and then lost to Chipola 11-3 Saturday to finish off the Paradise Cover Tournament.
Eva Stoddard pitched a gem in the opening game, giving up just two earned runs with four strikeouts to the defending national champions.
The Golden Eagles struggled in the circle in game two, committed three errors and couldn't get the timely hits.
Rilyne Keck was 1-2 with a walk and RBI and
Anslie Yazzie was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Kelsie Jensen were each 1-for-3.
Ella Farrell earned the loss, going 1.1 innings and giving up six runs on six hits with three walks.
Marissa Mauger pitched 4.1 innings, giving up four earned runs with five strikeouts.
