TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Two freshmen made an impact all season for the College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team and were recognized for their contribution on the court. Hazuna Akishige was named the Region 18 Libero of the Year, earning first-team accolades. Mina Benucci was named to the Region 18 Second Team. 
Akishige led the Scenic West Athletic Conference in total digs with 421 as well as digs per set with 4.30. She passed a .932 reception percentage and was the Golden Eagles top serve receiver. The freshman also racked up 19 service aces and 62 assists.
Playing in the middle for CSI, Benucci was a force. She ranked sixth in the conference in hitting percentage at .273 and fourth in blocks per set at 0.85. She also had 18 service aces and 189 total kills.
