COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team will head into next week's Region 18 Tournament as the two seed after sweeping North Idaho 25-21, 25-12, 25-19 Saturday in the final Scenic West Athletic Conference game.
The Golden Eagles played well as a team.
Mina Benucci led the way with 10 kills and two blocks.
Isabel Smart added eight kills, four digs and two blocks.
Amanda Uren and
Vivian Goto combined for 12 kills, four assists and 11 digs on the outside.
At the setter position,
Dalayni Brindley had a team-high 21 assists. Defensively,
Hazuna Akishige finished with nine digs.
CSI, 18-8 overall and 7-3 in conference play, will open the Region 18 Tournament Wednesday in Salt Lake.Â
