Box Score 2 YUMA, Ariz. - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho avenged an early season loss by beating #19 Eastern Arizona 6-1 and then beat Arizona Western 10-8 Saturday on the final day of the Arizona Western Tournament.

Gracie Walters dominated in the circle in the first game. The sophomore gave up one run on three hits with 13 strikeouts for the win.
At the plate,
Taya Manzanares was 3-for-4 with an RBI,
Saige Nielsen was 2-for-4 with a double,
Gracie Tentinger was 2-for-4 with a double and
Brylee Bigelow was 1-for-2 with two RBI.
In the second game, Manzanares was 2-for-4 with two RBI and three CSI players hit home runs.
Tessa Hokanson was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI,
Rachael Brown was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and
Tasha Hokanson was 1-for-2 with a home run. Tentinger had another solid game, going 3-for-4.
Makenzie Evans earned the win, going three innings and giving up three earned runs.
Abby Hayes came in for the save, pitching the final two innings and giving up no earned runs on two hits.
CSI, now 8-2 overall, is off for a week before heading to Texas for a tournament.
