Box Score 2 RANGELY, Colo. - The 12th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball team completed the four-game sweep with two 5-inning run rules, beating Colorado Northwestern CC 18-1 and 18-2.
In game one,
Melanie Groenewegen finished 3-for-3, while
Anjalee Batchelor and
Tristin Evans were both 3-for-4.Â
Hadlie Henderson earned the win in the circle, dominating the Spartans. The freshman gave up just two hits and no earned runs in the win.
Evans continued with the hot bat in game two. She was 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.
Hailey Hicks was 3-for-4 with a home run.
Courtney Argyle was 3-for-4 and
Kassidie Brooks was 3-for-5.
Zimmerman earned the game two win in the circle, going four innings and giving up two earned runs on two hits with five strikeouts.
Audrey Hegi threw the fifth innings, giving up no runs on one hit with one strikeout.
CSI, now 19-7 overall and 9-3 in conference play, hosts USU Eastern Friday and Saturday.
