CARSON CITY, Nev. - One day after the Golden Eagles played sluggish in taking two games and losing one to Western Nevada, the CSI Softball bats came out hot and the pitching was just as sharp in a 10-1 run rule.
CheyAnne Dahl earned the win in the circle, giving up just three hits with four strikeouts. Her only run she surrendered was on a wild pitch.
At the plate,
Madi Ford led CSI, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a stolen base.
Savannah Kirkpatrick was 2-for 3 as well.
Katie Basinger and
Sarah Phillips each hit a home run.
The Golden Eagles, now 26-13 overall and 17-7 in Scenic West Athletic Conference place, host Colorado Northwestern Friday and Saturday.
