CSI Men's Basketball signs Utah point guard for upcoming season

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - TWIN FALLS, Idaho – College of Southern Idaho Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Reinert has announced the signing of Carlo Mulford, an accomplished point guard from Herriman High School for the 2026-27 school year.
Mulford leaves Herriman High School as one of the most decorated players in program history. He finished his career as the school's all-time leader in points, assists, steals, and 3-point field goals made, cementing his legacy as one of Utah's premier guards.
A proven winner throughout his high school career, Mulford led Herriman to back-to-back Region Championships while earning Region MVP and Most Outstanding Player honors in consecutive seasons. He also was named First Team All-State in back-to-back years, recognizing his outstanding production and leadership.
"We're thrilled to welcome Carlo to the College of Southern Idaho," Reinert said. "He's a true point guard who impacts the game in every way. Carlo has proven he can score, create for teammates, defend at a high level, and lead winning teams. His toughness, basketball IQ, and competitive spirit make him an outstanding fit for our program. We believe he'll have an immediate impact and continue the tradition of outstanding point guard play at CSI."
Known for his ability to control the pace of the game, make plays for others, and knock down perimeter shots, Mulford brings championship experience and a winning mentality to the Golden Eagles.
Mulford will join the CSI men's basketball program this fall as the Golden Eagles prepare for another run at the Scenic West Athletic Conference Championship and a return to the NJCAA National Tournament.
