TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho Head Men's Basketball Coach
Jeff Reinert has announced the signing of Blake Rawson, a 6-8, 245 pound power forward from American Fork, Utah, to join the Golden Eagles for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.
Rawson arrives at CSI after one of the most successful high school careers in Utah. During his time at American Fork, he helped lead the Cavemen to four consecutive State tournament appearances, including back to back State championship appearances, capturing the 6A State Title in 2022.
As a junior, Rawson earned Desert News 6A All-State Second Team, Daily Herald All-Valley First Team, All-Region IV First Team, Prep Hoops All-Region IV First Team, and Prep Hoops 6A All-Tournament Team honors. He was also selected to attend the prestigious 2023 NCAA Basketball Academy.
The awards continued to pile up in Rawson's Senior season, as he was recognized as Daily Herald All-Valley Defensive MVP, Region 3 First Team All-Region, Desert News 6A All-State Third Team, and received multiple honors from Prep Hoops, Including Utah Playoffs All-Tournament Third Team, Utah All-State Honorable Mention, and Utah All-Senior Team Honorable Mention.
Prior to enrolling at CSI, Rawson served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-Day Saints in Neuquen, Argentina. He also excelled in the classroom. graduating from American Fork High School with a 3.5 GPA.

Blake comes from one of Utah's premier high school programs, understands how to in, and has developed into an outstanding defender and rebounder. His maturity, character, and work ethic following his mission make him an outstanding addition to our program."
Rawson's combination of size, experience, defensive presence, and championship pedigree is expected to make an immediate impact as the Golden Eagles look repeat as Scenic West Athletic Champions, and return to the NJCAA National Tournament. Rawson is the eigth member of the 2026-2027 signing class.
