TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Golden Eagle Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Reinert has announced the signing of Serbian point guard Luka Solomun for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The 6-foot-2 Solomun developed in the prestigious BC Mega program, one of Europe's top player development organizations and the former club of NBA MVP Nikola Jokić. During his youth career, he won two Serbian U17 National Championships, two Serbian U19 National Championships, an ABA Junior League title, reached the Final Four of the EuroLeague Adidas Next Generation Tournament, and earned MVP honors at the Serbian High School National Championship.
 Solomun also began his senior league career at age 18 with OKK Beograd in the Serbian First Division and represented Serbia internationally, earning selection to the extended U18 National Team, competing in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, and receiving an invitation to the Serbia U20 National Team.
 "We're excited to welcome Luka to the College of Southern Idaho," said Reinert. "He comes from one of the top development programs in Europe and has competed at an elite level. Replacing Ace Reiser and Jalen Lyn at point guard was a major priority, and Luka is one of two point guards we've signed to help fill that role. His experience, leadership, and winning background make him a tremendous addition to our program."
 Solomun joins Utah standout Diego Mulford and Idaho native Cutter Beus as CSI's recruiting class so far. The Golden Eagles expect the Serbian guard's championship experience and international background to be key in helping the Golden Eagles win another conference and region title and compete for their fourth national championship.
