CASPER, Wyo. - College of Southern Idaho's Ella Begger will compete for a Breakaway Roping national championship Saturday at the College National Finals Rodeo.
The sophomore posted solid times in the first three rounds to earn a spot in the final go on Saturday. Begger posted times of 2.2, 3.8 and 3.3 to enter the finals tied for fourth. In the opening round, she placed fifth.
Two Golden Eagles just missed out on finals in Bull Riding. The top 12 in each event advance and Ashton Zabriskie finished in 14th and Mason Reine in 15th. 
The finals will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
