TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Rodeo Teams opened the spring season at home, hosting the CSI Intercollegiate Rodeo Friday and Saturday.
The women's team, led by
Hailey Gibbs, won the rodeo. Gibbs won the All-Around title, winning Breakaway Roping and taking second in Goat Tying.Â
Ella Begger also had a great rodeo, placing fourth in Breakaway Roping and fifth in Goat Tying.Â
For the men, LaMerrill Winters won Bareback Riding and
Brock Briggs took third in Saddle Bronc Riding. The Golden Eagles had two place in Steer Wrestling.
Kayden Skinner took fourth and
Chase Andrade was eighth.
In Team roping,
Macey Moore and
Oran Davis joined to take seventh.
Through this rodeo, the women's team is in second place in the Rocky Mountain Region and the men stand in sixth.
The Golden Eagles travel to Tremonton, Utah for the Weber State Rodeo Friday and Saturday.
