TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Pitching to Trey Purser hasn't worked out very well for CSI Baseball opponents all year and this past weekend was no exception. Purser helped lead the Golden Eagles to a split with Salt Lake CC and kept CSI in the conference lead, being named Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this year.
The Golden Eagles designated hitter, Purser hit .538 on the weekend with a .600 on-base percentage. He had one double, one triple, two home runs and nine RBI, while posting a 1.231 slugging percentage and a 1.831 OPS.
For the season, the power righty has 14 home runs.
CSI travels to USU Eastern for a four-game series Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
