TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Marissa Mauger held 24th-ranked Arizona Western College to just two hits in one of the College of Southern Idaho Softball Team's wins over the Matadors last weekend, leading to Scenic West Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.
Mauger helped the Golden Eagles to a 13-1 win over AWC in the game she pitched. She threw all six innings, striking out two. She held the Matadors to a .111 batting average and had a 1.17 ERA.
The 25th-ranked Golden Eagles finished the weekend 2-2 against AWC and next play seven game against five ranked opponents in Fort Myers, Fla., Feb. 12th-14th.
