EPHRAIM, Utah - The 22nd-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team bounced back with authority Saturday, beating Snow College 20-3 and 15-5 to win the weekend Scenic West Athletic Conference series.
The Golden Eagles finished with 18 hits in game one.
Adi Hansen was 3-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base.
Camryn Guest was 3-for-3 with three stolen bases.
Alyce Archuleta was 2-for-3 with a four RBI and
Jade Romero was 2-for-2 with two walks and two RBI.
Lexi Crowley added another double, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Sophia Bristow got the win, pitching all five innings and giving up three earned runs on six hits with seven strikeouts.
The Golden Eagles added 19 more hits in game two, led by
Rilyne Keck's 4-for-5 performance with three RBI. Romero stayed hot, going 3-for-4 with a walk. Archuleta was 2-for-3 and
Anslie Yazzie was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI.
Emerson Fuller earned her second win of the weekend, pitching six innings and giving up four earned runs on nine hits with five strikeouts.
CSI, 13-9 overall and 5-3 in conference play, has a bye next week.
