TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat USU Eastern 6-0 and 10-2 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Sophia Bristow pitched a gem in the opener, throwing the one-hit shutout with three strikeouts.
Anslie Yazzie finished 2-for-4 with a double and
Shyann Banasky was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Lexi Crowley was 1-for-2. Both
Adi Hansen and
Camryn Guest added to their stolen base totals. Hansen had three and Guest had two.
After giving up two runs in the first inning,
Emerson Fuller settled in and shut the Eagles out. The sophomore gave up just four hits with three strikeouts.
Hansen was 2-for-3 and had one more stolen base and Guest was 2-for-3 with three RBI and a stolen base.
Rilyne Keck was 2-for-2 and
Kyli Carrell was 1-for-1 with a home run and three RBI.
Maile Ha'o also hit a two-RBIÂ home run.
CSI, 16-9 overall and 8-3 in conference play, hosts Treasure Valley for a doubleheader before going on the road to North Idaho.
