TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team took the Friday sweep over USU Eastern, beating the Eagles 4-1 and 13-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Emerson Fuller held USU Eastern to just one earned run on seven hits with eight strikeouts in the opener for the win.
Adi Hansen was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and
Camryn Guest was 2-for-4 with a stolen base.
Lexi Crowley was 1-for-2 and
Maile Ha'o finished with a double.
CSI finished the game with five stolen bases.
Golden Eagles pounded 15 hits in game two.
Hansen stayed hot, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and two stolen bases.
Kyli Carrell and
Anslie Yazzie were both 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Jade Romero was 2-for-3 with a triple and a stolen base and Crowley was 1-for-2.
Marissa Mauger got the win in the circle, pitching four innings and giving up four earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts.
Ella Farrell pitched the final two innings, giving up one run on two hits with two strikeouts.
CSI, 15-9 overall and 7-3 in conference play, hosts USUE for two more on Saturday.Â
