MOSCOW, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Distance Track Team posted some great times at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Meet Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Eagle Women added five more qualifiers for the NJCAA Indoor National Championships plus runners on both teams had 10 PRs and nine marks in the CSI all-time top 10 list.
In the 3,000 meters,
Lily Griffith ran a time 10:37.24 of to qualify. The other four qualifiers came in the 1,000 meters.
Mia Beightol (3:03.55),
Audrey Lemon (3:06.16),
Alyssa Bradshaw (3:05.93) and
Laurie Davidson (3:05.54) all ran qualifying marks.
Nine of the 10 PRs came in the 3,000 meters.
Raivio Manzer (8:38.65),
Grayden DeVries (8:40.15),
Vincent Showers (9:11.86),
Hyrum Spencer (9:24.44),
Edith Neslen (10:26.40),
Indianna Lundell (10:29.40),
Kate Derderian (10:53.93) and
Ali Suhaka (11:17.11) all ran their fastest times ever, while
Isabella Beilke reached a PR of 3:09.27 in the 1,000 meters.
In the 1,000 meters Beightol ran the Golden Eagles' fourth best time in CSI history, while Davidson, Bradshaw and Lemon were sixth, seventh and eighth.
Manzer and DeVries also ran the fifth and sixth best times, respectively, in CSI history for the 3,000 meters, while Neslen was third on the all-time list and Lundell was seventh.
The women's distance medley team also ran the eighth fastest time ever for CSI runners. Members of that relay were Beightol,
Lily Anderson, Lemon and Davidson.Â
The teams next compete Friday at the Stacy Dragila Invitational at Idaho State University.
