HOBBS, N.M. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Distance Track Team came away with an individual top eight finish and a relay top eight finish on the opening day of the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
Edith Neslen placed eighth in the 10,000 Meters, running a time of 38:35.85 to earn All American honors.
The team of Aubrie Barzee, Ava Daniel, Alyssa Bradshaw and Audrey Lemon followed up Neslen's performance with another eighth-place finish in the 4x800 relay, finishing in a time of 9:26.04.
More Golden Eagles will chase All-American finishes Friday and Saturday in the three-day event.
