HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Distance Track Programs made an immediate impact at the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships Thursday, earning All-American status in two events.
Lillian Neff placed fifth in the 10,000 Meters in a time of 37:06.60 to be named an All American.
The second event the Golden Eagles excelled in was the Women's 4x800 Relay.
Laynee Rowley,
Kennedy Kunz,
Isabella Beilke and
Aubrie Barzee combined to place sixth overall in a time of 9:26.46.
CSI will compete two more days at nationals. Golden Eagle athletes will compete in the 1500 prelims, 800 prelims and the 3000 Meter Steeplechase finals Friday.
