NAMPA, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Team took third at the Northwest Nazarene Cross Country Invitational Friday.
The Golden Eagles were just edged out by first place College of Idaho and second place NNU. Eastern Oregon placed fourth and Treasure Valley CC took fifth.
Edith Neslen paced the Golden Eagles in the 6K race, finishing in 23:06.67 for sixth place overall.
Indianna Lundell also placed in the top 10 in a time of 23:19.90 for eighth. Rounding out the scoring was
Sage Lyon (11th in 23:23.97),
Mia Beightol (12th in 23:40.85) and
Lily Griffith (13th in 23:44.38).
CSI next runs Oct. 3 in the Idaho State University Invitational.
