TWIN FALLS, Idaho - With the early signing period coming to an end, four College of Southern Idaho Baseball players have made their decisions on where their next baseball journey will be.
Grayson Riding (Oregon State University), Deagan Rigby (Utah Tech),
Caden Fenger (Nicholls State) and
Mack Evans (Nicholls State) all made it official this week.
Riding, a freshman from West Jordan, Utah, will join the Beavers next fall. Oregon State finished the 2025 season with a 48-16-1 record and competed in the NCAA Division 1 College World Series in Omaha, Neb. The right-handed pitcher will play his first season with CSI this spring.Â

Degan Rigby will play at Utah Tech for the 2027 season. Rigby, a sophomore from Tremonton, Utah, had 17 appearances for the Golden Eagles last spring, posting a 5.26 ERA and had 36 strikeouts in 25.2 innings pitched. He earned Region 18 second-team relief pitcher honors.
Utah Tech finished the 2026 season with a 24-31 overall record, competing in the Western Athletic Conference. In 2026-2027, the Trailblazers will join the Mountain West Conference
Both Fenger and Evans will play for Nicholls State next year.
Fenger, a right-handed pitcher from Mandelville, La., threw in 17 games for the Golden Eagles, finishing with a 7.11 ERA. The sophomore had 30 strikeouts in 38 innings. Nicholls head coach Brent Haring had this to say about Fenger, "We are glad to bring Caden back home to the Bayou. He is a very talented RHP that can really spin the baseball and comes from one of the top JUCO programs in the country."
Evans, a speedy outfielder from Pocatello, hit .297 for CSI and had nine doubles, eight home runs, 30 RBI and 10 stolen bases. He finished with a .430 on-base percentage. He was named to the Region 18 second team in 2025.
"Mack is a long physical outfielder that has real power and can really go get the ball," said Haring about signing Evans. "He is a natural leader and will bring much needed experience to our outfield."
Nicholls State competes in the Southland Conference and finished the 2025 season with a 17-32 overall record. Former CSI players
