PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team lost to USU Eastern Friday 10-7 to end its season in the Region 18 Semifinal.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the third inning but USUE climbed back into the game with two runs in the bottom half and then scored six runs in the fourth and one in the fifth to take a lead they didn't relinquish. CSI added a run in the sixth and seventh for the final tally.
Jack Barker finished the game 2-for-4 and Crew Secrist was 3-for-5 with a RBI. Braxton Biesinger hit a solo home run for the Golden Eagles.
Degan Rigby earned the loss, giving up four earned runs on four hits. Mason Hartle pitched the final 4.1 innings, giving up one earned run on five hits with one strikeout.
Crew Secrist was selected to the Region 18 All-Tournament Team. 
CSI ends its season with a 30-28 overall record and an 8-16 conference record.
