CSI MBB Assistant accepts head job at Carroll College

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball will have an assistant coach job to fill after Ryan Lundgren accepted the Head Men's Basketball Coaching position at Carroll College for the upcoming season.
"As excited as I am to be taking over as the next head coach at Carroll College, it's never easy leaving a place as special as CSI," Lundgren said. "The unwavering support I received from President Dean Fisher, Joel Bate and Daequon Montreal made this process so much easier on me and my family. We will greatly miss this wonderful community in Twin Falls and will always consider this place home. The opportunity to take over at a nationally prominent program is an honor I don't take lightly. Lexi, London and I are thrilled to move to Helena, Mont., adn insert ourselves into the Carroll community."
Lundgren, who was the Associate Head Coach at CSI, helped the Golden Eagles to three NJCAA National Tournament appearances in his four seasons. This past season he helped lead a Golden Eagle squad that finished the regular season undefeated, only the second time that has happened in the history of CSI Basketball.
During his time at CSI, the Golden Eagles won two Scenic West Athletic Conference titles and one Region 18 Championship. He coached four NJCAA All Americans - Isaiah Moses, Rob Whaley, Mike Hood and Deng Dut.
Prior to coming to Twin Falls, Lundgren served as the Vallivue High School Head Coach from 2015 to 2019.
