YUMA, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team claimed its third straight win, beating the host Arizona Western Saturday 101-91.
The Golden Eagles trailed the Matadors 44-32 at the half but a 69-point second-half performance was too much for Arizona to handle.
Deishuan Booker led CSI with 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Teammate
Josiah Barsh added 14 points. Jonathon Nwankwo also had a solid night, finishing with 14 points and nine rebounds.
The Golden Eagles out-rebounded Arizona Western 38-29. The other big difference came at the free throw line, where CSI was 33-of-45. The Matadors were 13-of-17.
CSI, now 3-1, returns home to host the Fisher's Tech Invitational Friday and Saturday.
