TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Following a strong 6-5-4 season in just the second year of existence for CSI Women's Soccer, the program has announced two players who have found a new home at four year schools for the 2026-2027 season. Freshman Kellie Christensen has committed to to Idaho State University, while Sophomore Jael Montalvo will take her talents to Central Methodist Universirty. 
Christensen, in her one year in the black and gold appeared in 13 games and started five of them, registering one goal in an 8-0 win over Pacific Northwest Christian back on September 11th. A crucial part of the Golden Eagle offensive attack, Christensen logged 21 shots and seven shots on goal. She was also named an NJCAA All-Academic Second Team this past school year. The Pocatello, Idaho native will return home to join the Bengals, who are coming off of a 5-8-4 season, where they secured big wins over North Dakota State, Cal State Bakersfield and UNLV. The Bengals compete in the Big Sky Conference, with fellow Gem State institution, the University of Idaho. 
Montalvo, part of a special group who was on the inaugural Women's Soccer team back in 2024, left a big impact on a still new program. In her two years with the Golden Eagles, Montalvo started 12 games, and really blossomed into a force offensively in her sophomore year, finishing the season with four goals and five assists. Her best game came back in October, where she had a hand in all three of the Golden Eagle goals, scoring one and assisting on the other two, on the way to a 3-1 victory over Truckee Meadows.
The native of Ecuador, will know head to Fayette, Missouri to join the Eagles, who are coming off a fantastic 16-3-2 season and a national tournament appearance. Central Methodist competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
