OREM, Utah - The CSI Women's Cross Country team kicked off their 2026 season with a very strong showing Saturday morning at the Utah Valley University Invite finishing fifth place as a team.
The fifth place finish was tops among NJCAA school competing, finishing just behind four NCAA Division I programs in the three mile race.
Indianna Lundell was the Golden Eagles top finisher with a time of 17:45.99. Rounding out the top five for the Golden Eagles was
Kenadee Bushman with a time of 18:06.74,
Brilee Galbraith with a time of 18:13.94,
Katie Boyle with a time of 18:27.67 and
Rachel Crummett with a time of 18:34.26.
CSI will head south to the state of Utah again next week when they compete in the Beehive Invitational in Salt Lake City.
