Randy Rogers made his mark on CSI Women's Basketball

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Nobody has done it better in the history of the College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Program than Randy Rogers. As the all-time winningest coach prepares for his retirement, he will leave the program and CSI Athletics having made a difference.
Rogers joined CSI in 2002 and has been at the helm of Golden Eagle Women's Basketball for 24 years. In that time, he accumulated 590 wins and just 187 losses overall and a 298-97 Scenic West Athletic Conference record.
He was named Region 18 Coach of the Year 11 times and District Coach of the Year 12 times.
Under his direction, the Golden Eagles won 12 Region 18 championships and made 12 NJCAA National Tournament appearances. His highest finish at the national tournament came in 2004-05, when the Golden Eagles finished as the national runner-up.
Rogers has coached 27 All-Americans and has helped more than 100 players continue on to four-year colleges and universities.
In his final trip to the NJCAA National Tournament, he led the Golden Eagles to an Elite Eight appearance, falling to the eventual national champion.
Of active NJCAA coaches, Rogers ranks in the top 20 in overall career wins.
Rogers put CSI Women's Basketball on the national map, but more importantly he changed many lives under his mentorship.
CSI has opened the position and will hire Rogers replacement in the near future.
