NAMPA, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Distance Track Team finished Saturday's Northwest Nazarene University Meet with six more qualifiers.
Running the steeplechase for the first time this season,
Indianna Lundell and
Lily Griffith each posted a time fast enough to qualify for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. They also placed first and second in the event. Lundell won it in 11:40 and Griffith posted a time of 11:59.
In the 1500,
Laurie Davidson and
Alyssa Bradshaw each ran a qualifying time. Davidson ran a 4:50 for sixth place and Bradshaw was seventh in 4:51.
Taking first and second in the meet in the 5,000 Meters,
Edith Neslen and
Mia Beightol qualified. Neslen ran a 17:58 and Beightol came across in 18:15.
Hyrum Spencer placed second in the meet in the steeplechase, running a time of 10:22.
Raivio Manzer won the 5,000 Meters in a time of 15:23. Teammates
Grayden DeVries and
Kaleb Burnett took second and third.
CSI next competes at the Aggie Invitational April 25th.
