CSI Men's Basketball welcomes back Henshaw as assistant coach

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Head Coach Jeff Reinert and the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Program are excited to announce the hiring of Dawson Henshaw as an assistant coach for the 2025-26 season.
Henshaw returns to CSI after previously serving as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles during the 2023-24 season, the year in which the team finished the regular season undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the nation.
For the past two years, Henshaw has served as the head assistant coach at Montana Western, where he served as recruiting coordinator and directed the Bulldogs' offensive system.
"We're thrilled to welcome Dawson back to CSI," Reinert said. "He's a tireless worker, a great recruiter and he knows what it takes to compete at the highest level. Our players and program will benefit from his energy and experience. I've known Dawson since I moved to Idaho and his passion for being at CSI really came through in the interview process. We're excited to welcome Dawson and his wife, Abi, back to Twin Falls."
Henshaw is just as excited to rejoin the Golden Eagles.
"Coming back to CSI is a tremendous honor," Henshaw said. "I want to thank Coach Reinert and Athletic Director Daequon Montreal for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. CSI is a special place with special people and my wife Abi and I are thrilled to be part of the Golden Eagle family again. Having already experienced what makes this program so unique, I know the tradition, support and expectations here are second to none. I'm excited to help our student-athletes grow on and off the floor and to contribute to the championship culture that defines CSI Basketball."
