Daequon Montreal

Daequon Montreal re-united with the College of Southern Idaho in the fall of 2022 to take over the role of assistant athletic director. In July of 2024, Montreal moved into the athletic director position and now oversees the Golden Eagle Athletic Department.
Originally from Syracuse, N.Y., Montreal played basketball at CSI from 2007-2009 before completing his degree and college playing career at Boise State University.
"CSI is a very special place and I am so excited to be back to a place I called home as a player. I am thankful and blessed to be able to work along side the amazing community we have in Twin Falls," Montreal said. "I love working with some of the best coaches and staff in the country."
After playing professionally in Australia Montreal returned to Twin Falls with his wife and children and became the athletic director at Lighthouse Christian School in 2016. He remained there until he accepted the assistant athletic director position at CSI.
At Lighthouse he was instrumental in overseeing and managing the athletic department's budget as well as playing a big role in fundraising, making the transition to CSI seamless.
Montreal brings with him a bachelor's degree in social science from Boise State University. He is married to Jamie, who also played basketball at CSI, and they have two children - Keyana and Krue.Â
