TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team is proud to announce the addition of
Charlie Dimmock for the upcoming 2025-26 season. A native of Perth, Australia, the 6-10 forward joins the Golden Eagles following a standout stint in the NBL1 League - Australia's second-highest professional basketball competition - where he suited up for the Cockburn Cougars.
Dimmock is the latest in a line of talented Australian players to join CSI under Head Coach Jeff Reinert, following in the footsteps of All-Region 18 First Team selection
Amarco Doyle and NJCAA First Team All-American Deng Dut.
Before competing in NBL 1, Dimmock developed his game at the prestigious IMG Academy in Florida. IMG Academy has produced NBA players Anfernee Simons, Jarace Walker, Josh Green and Keyonte George.
"Charlie is a skilled big man with the ability to score both inside and out," Reinert said. "He spent last season at IMG Academy, using that time to grow stronger and develop physically. I really like his overall skill set, and I believe he can help fill the low-post scoring void left by
Walker Timme's move to Northern Arizona."
A highly regarded prospect in Australia, Dimmock is a four-time Western Australia State Team selection and a Basketball Without Borders NBA Asia invitee. His blend of size, skill and international experience positions him as an immediate impact player.
"Charlie is well known in Perth and has a real chance to make an impact from day one," Reinert said. "He plays hard and plays smart. We've had success with Australian players here at CSI and I have no doubt Charlie will continue that trend."
Dimmock brings a valuable combination of size, versatility and scoring to the Golden Eagle frontcourt and is expected to be a key contributor in the 2025-26 campaign.
