Box Score 2 DOUGLAS, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team fell to Cochise 17-0 but bounced back to take the 6-1 win in game two on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles tallied nine hits in the win.
Brody Duvall was 2-for-3 with a triple and
Colby Carter was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI.
Jack Barker had a bases clearing triple for three RBI.
On the mound
Garrett Miller earned the win, going three innings and giving up no runs on one hit with two strikeouts.
Shay Benson threw the first three innings, giving up one run on four hits with two strikeouts and
Brennen Chappell closed out the game, going one inning and giving up no runs and no hits.
In the loss, four players finished with one hit. They were Duvall,
Logan West, Carter and
Gavin Schoonover.
CSI, 2-1 overall, plays Cochise one more time Sunday.
