Box Score DOUGLAS, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team opened its season with a 10-4 win over Cochise College Friday.
The Golden Eagles finished the game with 13 hits.
Eliot Jones was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Both
Colby Carter and
Tyler Vance were each 2-for-3. Carter had one double and Vance finished with two doubles.Â
The Golden Eagles had solid performances from all three pitchers that threw in the nine-inning game.
Ashton Johnson started the game, going 4.1 innings and giving up just two earned runs on three hits with seven strikeouts. Malcom Bartholomew earned the win, going 3.2 innings and giving up two earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts.
