Box Score OTTUMWA, Iowa - The third-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball fell to 12th-ranked Indian Hills Community College Friday in the opening round of the Reed Overhead Door's Classic.
The Golden Eagles struggled to take care of the ball, coughing up 22 turnovers while forcing only 12. CSI out-rebounded Indian Hills 41-36.
Leading the way offensively for the Golden Eagles was
Coreyoun Rushin with 14 points. He finished with a double-double, pulling down 13 rebounds.
Roberto Gittens had 13 points and
N'Keil Nelson added 12. Nelson also had four rebounds.
CSI shot 47 percent from the field but made only 12-of-21 from the free-throw line.
The Golden Eagles take on 16th-ranked Missouri State West Plains Saturday at 5 p.m. CST.
