TWIN FALLS, Idaho - College of Southern Idaho Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach
Lindsey Anderson qualified Sunday for the U.S. Olympic Trials at the Chicago Marathon.
Anderson placed 12th overall among all women and was the sixth highest American finisher, posting a time of 2:36:51, good enough to beat the A qualifying mark of 2:37.
Previously, Anderson competed for the United States in the Steeplechase at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
"It's been exciting for us to watch her success as a coach of our men's and women's teams and then to see her succeed individually as well," said CSI Athletic Director
Joel Bate. "We definitely are very lucky to have her on staff at CSI."
