NAMPA, Idaho - The CSI Men's Cross country team had a solid showing at their first home meet in the state of Idaho, as they finished third as a team at the Northwest Nazarene University Invitational on Friday morning. 
Ben Ricks was the lone top-10 finisher for the Golden Eagles, finishing 8th overall with a time of 25:23.3, followed by Ben Jensen who placed 16th with a time of 25:37.6. The rest of the Golden Eagles top five was rounded out by Finn Rutledge with a time of 25:52.7, Ryan Stutz with a time of 26:37.8 and Isaac Vernon with a time of 27:05.0. 
The Golden Eagles finished in third as a team, behind four-year programs College of Idaho and Northwest Nazarene. 
The next time the Cross Country teams will be in action will be their home meet, the Dr. Thad Scholes XC Classic, on October 9th, at Canyon Springs Golf Course.
