RANGELY, Colo. - Colorado Northwestern had no answer for
Ar'Mond Davis Saturday as the CSI Men's Basketball team beat the Spartans 84-45 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Davis scored 29 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to go with 13 rebounds. He wasn't the only Golden Eagle on fire from beyond the arc.
EJ Boyce knocked down six 3-point field goals as well.
Total, CSI hit 14 3-pointers for the game and dominated every facet of the game. The Golden Eagles out-rebounded CNCC 45-34 and forced the Spartans into 20 turnovers compared to seven for CSI.
The Golden Eagles improve to 8-5 in SWAC play, just one game behind Salt Lake, which is in second place and one game ahead of Snow in fourth. This sets up a huge final regular season showdown. CSI hosts Snow and Salt Lake next weekend.
