TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho baseball team fell to Salt Lake 5-1 Thursday and 2-0 and 7-5 Friday at Skip Walker Field, solidifying the fourth seed in next week's Region 18 Tournament to be held in Henderson, Nev.
The Golden Eagles had no timely hitting Thursday, and struggled defensively committing seven errors.
Harrison Ramey and
Dugan Shirer were the only two CSI players with multiple hits. Ramey finished 3-for-4 and Shirer was 2-4.

Zack Draper only gave up two earned runs in six innings with six strikeouts.
In the first game on Friday, CSI managed just two hits - one by
Mikey Ortega and one by
Jake Boyd. On the mound
Mason Hilty threw well just didn't have the run support, going the distance and giving up only six hits with eight strikeouts.
In the final game, the Golden Eagles spotted Salt Lake six runs in the first three innings and just couldn't comeback. Pitchers Damen Jones and
Cameron Coombs came in and threw well but the damage was done. Jones went 2.1 innings, giving up one earned run and Coombs went 2.0 innings and gave up just one hit. At the plate the only Golden Eagle with more than one hit was Rossi, who finished 2-for-4.
The Golden Eagles will play their final home game of the regular season Saturday at noon. Prior to the first pitch, there will be a short ceremony to honor the sophomore class.
