TWIN FALLS - The Golden Eagles took two games Friday off Colorado Northwestern, beating the Spartans 7-0 in the opener and 5-3 in the game two.
In game one, CSI put everything together dominating in the field and at the plate.
Zack Draper was close to untouchable, pitching all seven innings and giving up just three hits, no runs with eight strikeouts. His teammates backed him up at the plate, finishing with 13 hits.
Kody Garvin led the way, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Mike Ortega hit a home run and
Cole Walters was 2-for-2.
In the second game,
Mason Hilty earned the win, going five innings and giving up three hits and one earned run with eight strikeouts.
Parker Loutensock earned the save.
The Golden Eagles improve to 11-7 on the season and 4-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI plays Colorado Northwestern Saturday at noon for a single nine-inning game.
