HENDERSON, Nev. - After taking game one in convincing fashion, the College of Southern Idaho baseball team played two close ones with Southern Nevada losing 3-2 and 4-2 Friday before falling 11-3 Saturday in a 7-inning run rule.
The Golden Eagles took a 2-1 lead Friday in game one into the bottom of the fifth but watched it disappear as Southern Nevada scored two for the final margin. 
Cody Jenkins and 
Nate Gardner each went 1-for-2 at the plate. 
Zack Draper earned the loss, going 4.1 innings, giving up eight hits and one earned run with five strikeouts.
In game two, 
Mason Hilty went 4.2 innings, giving up seven hits and four earned runs in the loss.
At the plate, 
Cole Walters and 
Cody Jenkins finished 2-for-3, each earning an RBI.
Saturday was similar to Thursday but swapped outcomes. 
Cameron Coombs earned the loss, going just 1.2 innings. He gave up three runs on one hits and five walks.
The Golden Eagles went through six pitchers before the game ended in the seventh on a run rule.
Gardner had a solid day at the plate, going 3-for-4.
CSI, 17-11 overall and 5-7 in conference play, travels to Salt Lake Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
