TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team will participate in an inter-squad scrimmage at the Wood River High School Gymnasium Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
Donations will be accepted for entrance and will benefit the Wood River HS boys' basketball team as well as the Wood River Student Union.
The CSI men's basketball team is always one of the highest quality NJCAA men's basketball teams in the nation. Last year, the team posted a 27-5 record and in 2011 won a NJCAA National Championship in Hutchinson, Kan.
A pre-game meal, hosted by the Wood River boys' basketball team, will be offered beginning at 5:30 p.m. This meal, costing $10, will be a fund-raising activity for the Wood River boys basketball team and the Wood River Student Union. The CSI men's team will be in attendance to meet the public and sign autographs for interested kids during dinner and after the game.
