CSI women lose by 1 to SWAC leader NIC

COEUR D'ALENE - The College of Southern Idaho women's basketball team came within one point of knocking off defending NJCAA National Champion North Idaho Saturday, falling to the Cardinals 67-66.
The Golden Eagles were again led by the starting sophomores. Tayllor Gipson finished with 20 points, followed by 16 from Chakala Carthen, 15 from Kylee Scheirman and 13 from Mechela Barnes.
CSI, 1-2 in SWAC play, travels to CEU and CNCC next week.
