Biography

    At CSI: Mechela started in 24 of the 29 games she played as a freshman at CSI. She scored the second most points on the team. She was first on the team in steals per game and third in the conference.
    Before CSI: Mechela played basketball and ran cross country at Bellarmine Prep High School.
    She helped her team to league championships all four years of basketball, as well as an eighth-place finish at state her sophomore year and a fourth place finish at state her senior season.
     She earned first team all league honors three years and was named the Queens of the Hardwood MVP in 2009.
