Larry Hovey, "the scribe", covered CSI athletics for the Times-News from 1966 until 1996, traveling with the basketball team for 30 years. For his outstanding coverage, Hovey was inducted into the CSI Athletic Hall of Fame on Dec. 11, 1999.
