For the upcoming 2025-26 season, Dawson Henshaw joins the Golden Eagle staff for the second time in his career. His first stint with CSI was in 2022-23.
From 2023 to the present, Henshaw served as the head assistant coach at Montana Western, where he served as recruiting coordinator and directed the Bulldogs' offensive system.
Before making the move to CSI in 2022, Henshaw was the assistant coach at Boise High School for five seasons (2016-2021), helping lead them to their first state tournament appearance and win in more than 20 years. Most recently Henshaw was the junior varsity coach at Rocky Mountain High School.
Outside of high school, Henshaw coached two years with Select Basketball, which is one of the premier AAU programs in the Mountain West, covering Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington.
"Coming back to CSI is a tremendous honor," Henshaw said. "I want to thank Coach Jeff Reinert and Athletic Director Daequon Montreal for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. CSI is a special place with special people and my wife Abi and I are thrilled to be part of the Golden Eagle family again. Having already experienced what makes this program so unique, I know the tradition, support and expectations here are second to none. I'm excited to help our student-athletes grow on and off the floor and to contribute to the championship culture that defines CSI Basketball."
"I am incredibly excited to be joining such an accomplished program and staff at CSI," Henshaw said. "The level of support from the Twin Falls community is apparent and I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to work with the high-level players and coaches at CSI."
A licensed Real Estate Agent and Property Manager, Henshaw graduated from Boise State University with a degree in International Business and Mandarin Chinese.
